RWPS Dataspire Trailblazers Training

Red Wing Public Schools launched the Dataspire Trailblazers 2025-2026 training with grades 6–12 staff last week, building foundational capacity in data literacy and data-informed instruction.

This introductory work to deepen students' data visualization and data-based conclusion skills directly supports the district’s Portrait of a Graduate.

In particular, the AI-Ready and Technologically Literate Innovator competency, which emphasizes computational thinking, data literacy, and the responsible use of emerging technologies.

The work with Dataspire and DS4E, Data Science 4 Everyone, represents early, intentional steps within Flight Path 2030, RWPS’s long-term roadmap to becoming a Center of Excellence in AI-Integrated Computing Education.
