At a special meeting on Monday, the Red Wing School Board voted unanimously to select Dr. Martina Wagner as the district’s next superintendent.
Jim Bryant, Board Chair, says “Dr. Wagner has the knowledge, experience and relationship-building skills needed to lead Red Wing Public Schools. In addition, her passion for education and serving all students make her an excellent fit. We look forward to working with her.”
The School Board will now enter into contract negotiations with Dr. Wagner, and a contract is expected to be approved by the School Board on Monday, March 20th.
Wagner is currently in her first year as director of Teaching and Learning for Red Wing Public Schools.
