Red Wing School Board Superintendent Search

Red Wing School Board will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday, to review superintendent applications and choose finalists.

The Minnesota School Boards Association executive search team will present a list of vetted candidates for the School Board to consider.

Candidates will be identified by a letter of the alphabet during Thursday's discussion.

Only the names of the 5-6 actual finalists will be made public.

The meeting, which will be held in Red Wing High School J110, is open to the public.

Board members said they will use community input gathered last winter through surveys and listening sessions when selecting finalists and ultimately choosing a superintendent.

First round interviews will take place Monday, April 8.
