Red Cross Month and Blood Drives

This March, we’re celebrating Red Cross Month, a time to honor everyday heroes who help save lives.

During the month of March, successful blood donations will get free A1C testing (one result per calendar year).

Commonly used to screen for prediabetes and diabetes, A1C testing measures your average blood sugar over the past three months. No fasting is needed.

Opportunities to give blood in Red Wing and the area this month:

Red Wing YMCA, today from 10 am- 4 pm.

Thursday, you can donate blood at the Treasure Island Resort & Casino from 1-7 pm.

Red Wing Armory-Minnesota National Guard on Thursday, March 12 from 9 am – 3 pm.

Wednesday, March 18^th, Goodhue High School is hosting a drive from 8 am – 2 pm.

When you come in to give blood in March, the Red Cross will say thanks with a $15 Amazon Gift Card by email.
