Red Wing Public Schools Enrollment

If you have a child eligible to start kindergarten in Red Wing in September, registration began in February, so if you haven't completed the process, now is the time to do so.

All children who are at least 5 years of age by Sept. 1, 2026, can be enrolled in kindergarten. For more information about this requirement, visit the Minnesota Department of Education website.

If your child enrolled and attended classes last year in another district – including 5RiversOnline – but plans to return to Red Wing Public Schools for the 2026-2027 school year, you must re-enroll that child with RWPS Student Services. 

This is a state requirement.
