LPLA Guided Paddle


Join Lake Pepin Legacy Alliance for a guided paddle to the Bay City habitat restoration project on Lake Pepin.


The event is Sunday, August 9 from 10 am - 12:30 pm from Bay City.


Experience the Pierce County Islands Restoration Project from the water and learn how this major restoration effort is creating new islands, restoring backwater habitat, and protecting shorelines for fish, wildlife, and future generations.


They will paddle through the project area, stop along the way to discuss the restoration work, and answer questions throughout the morning.


Bring your own kayak or canoe, or reserve a free kayak or canoe in advance while supplies last.


Registration is required, and space is limited to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
