Red Wing Paid On Call Firefighter

If you've ever considered serving your community as a Paid On Call Firefighter, the Red Wing Fire Department and the City of Red Wing will be accepting applications through Friday, May 30th at redwingmn.gov/jobs.

Fire Chief Mike Warner says no prior firefighting experience is required, it is part-time, but you will be an officially trained firefighter.

Chief Warner says the Department, both full-time and Paid On Call firefighters, learn and stay ready by utilizing the training tower at Fire Station 2, 4880 Moundview Drive.

Applicants for Paid On Call Firefighter must meet the following minimum qualifications:

Reside within 20 minutes of Fire Station #1 in downtown Red Wing, possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a valid driver’s license issued by their state of residence.
