The Red Wing Fire Department received a call reporting a kitchen fire at a residence in the 200 Block of 6 th Street West, in Red Wing Sunday at 11:41 pm.
Fire department personnel arrived on the scene within 3 minutes of receiving the call and found a small fire inside the kitchen behind the stove area.
Crews confirmed all occupants were out of the home and made entry to extinguish the fire.
The fire was out within 2 minutes of arrival.
The residence sustained minor damage to the kitchen area. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
