The community is invited to attend Red Wing High School’s Spring Play this week.
The students will be performing a pair of one act plays, Brian the Comet and Life, Off Book, with a short intermission. Both plays run around 40 minutes.
Brian the Comet is about a girl who’s mom is an astronaut on the Iternational Space Station, her father is diagnosed with lung cancer, and she meets a boy in the hospital named Brian who suffers from aneurysms and together, they learn about what they fear, what they know, what they believe, and what they hope for.
Life, Off Book’s plot revolves around Ophelia and Jeb’s relationship that looks great on the outside, but an empty shell on the inside. Ophelia is a phenomenal dancer and actress who's constantly afraid. Jeb is Ophelia’s mild mannered fake boyfriend who is also a closeted gay man.
The performances are tonight at 7 pm and Saturday at 2 pm and 7 pm in the Red Wing High School Little Theatre.
Adult tickets are $5, students are free, and tickets are avialable at the door. Â Â Â Â Â Â
