The City of Red Wing will have a full week of activities, programs, challenges and educational opportunities during Earth Week, April 18-23rd.
David Anderson, President of the Friends of the Bluff, who has partnered with the City for Earth Day activities for a few years, says Red Wing Earth Week 2022 will be centered on accelerating solutions to combat climate change by activating the community.
Anderson says the City will provide a week full of no cost free educational information, activities, and programs for all ages.
The week kicks off Monday, April 18th at 5:30 am with a Sunrise Hike on He Mni Can-Barn Bluff, hosted by Friends of the Bluffs and the Red Wing Clean-Up Day – the City’s campaign to remove pieces of trash and litter from our neighborhoods, along our rivers, trails, and parks
