Red Wing City Council Primary Election

Residents of Wards 3 & 4 in Red Wing will have a chance to vote tomorrow in a primary election for a City Council seat.

Because more than two candidates have filed for Wards 3 & 4 Council Member, it requires a primary election on Tuesday between Ben Weldon, Ashley Bickle, and Beth Thomas Snyder.

The top 2 vote getters will face off in November.

Only voters in Wards 3 & 4 will see a City office on their primary ballot. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 pm on Election Day.

Gary Iocco and Nicky Buck are running for Red Wing Mayor.

Don Kliewer, who represents Ward 2 now, will face off against Min MartinOakes.

Council President Kim Beise is unopposed in Ward 1 in the November election.

Each seat is a four-year term expiring January 2029.
