Red Wing City Council Alley Improvement

The Red Wing City Council will meet at 6 pm on Monday to consider adopting an improvement of the alley in Block 8 of the Charles Betcher’s Addition of Red Wing (Alley between 6th Street and 7th Street, from Cleveland Street to Blaine Street).

Improvements would include removals, grading, aggregate base, concrete curb & gutter, storm sewer, hot plant mixed bituminous and related construction.

The areas proposed to be assessed are those properties adjacent to the improved alley listed above that receive special benefit from the improvement.

The estimated total cost of the improvement is $114,587.

A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. People who want be heard about the proposed improvement will be able to speak.
