Red Wing Cannabis Bust

The Red Wing Police Department, with assistance from the Southeast Minnesota Violent Crime Enforcement Team (SEMVCET), executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of East Fourth Street in Red Wing Tuesday around 9 am.  

45 year old Jamie Tri of Red Wing was arrested and transported to the Goodhue County Adult Detention Center.

During the search, investigators located evidence of a cannabis-growing operation.

Law enforcement personnel seized approximately 33 pounds of suspected marijuana, along with suspected pills, THC edible products, THC vaping products, marijuana wax, and other drug-related items.

Investigators also seized $26,099 in cash.

Tri was taken into custody Tri was charged with the following offenses:

• Cannabis Possession in the First Degree

• Controlled Substance Crime in the Third Degree

• Sale of Cannabis in the Third Degree

• Endangerment of Child  

This investigation remains active.
