The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) invites private well users in Dodge, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Wabasha and Winona counties to attend a public meeting in their area to learn about what is being done to address health concerns about nitrate in drinking water.
They have two public meetings this week in southeast Minnesota.
There’s a public briefing Wednesday, June 26th from 4-8 pm in Rushford at the Rushford – Peterson Public School and Thursday in Mazeppa.
That Open house runs from 5 to 8 pm, with a presentation at 6 pm at the Mazeppa Community Center.
