Possible Mississippi River Contamination

Water in the Mississippi River near the Eisenhower Bridge of Valor and Colvill Park may be contaminated by a temporary overflow of a sanitary sewer.

The City of Red Wing advises people to avoid physical contact as it may pose a health risk.

There was a small amount, approximately 3,950 gallons, that was released.
