Plainview Sip and Shop

Plainview area residents can look forward to a special event next week geared to get people out socializing and a fun reason to visit local businesses.

Plainview Mayor Aaron Luckstein, says the City has suspended the prohibition of public consumption for a ‘Sip and Shop’ event, scheduled Thursday, September 19 from 10 am to 7 pm.

Luckstein says it will create a fun atmosphere to purchase some gifts from local businesses and get a head start on holiday shopping.

Locations for the Sip and Shop include West Broadway Avenue from Fifth Street Southwest of North Wabasha Avenue; Fourth Street Southwest from Broadway to First Avenue Southwest; the alley running west to east in front of Kim’s Saloon from Fourth Street Southwest to Third Street Southwest, and Third Street Southwest from Broadway to the alley leading to Kim’s.
