Plainview Drag Show Event

A bit of controversy has arisen in Plainview after plans were announced to invite several drag queens to a local park this weekend.

Refill Goods and Atelier @ 1901 will be holding a small pride event in Plainview Saturday at Wedgewood Park.

Drag story hour at Refill Goods at 10:30, a vendor fair from noon-3 pm and drag shows at atelier @ 1901 at 4 pm and 7 pm.

Several Plainview area churches are planning on being at the park Saturday praying.
