Former Pine Island Man Child Abuse

The Zumbrota Police Department earlier this week issued a nationwide warrant for a 20-year-old man following a months-long investigation into child sex abuse material.

Landon Elias Rudolph, formerly of Pine Island, faces charges for possession of child sexual abuse material, two counts of use of minors in sexual performance and engaging in electronic communication describing sexual conduct with a child.

The multi-agency investigation uncovered an additional child victim and other adult suspects, according to Zumbrota police.

KTTC reports that officials with the U.S. Army were able to take Rudolph into custody.

He is currently held at the Cumberland County Detention Center in North Carolina, pending extradition to Minnesota.
