The schedule is still to open Old West Main Street this Labor Day weekend.
The project was successful in securing the Railroad permit necessary to complete the new utility work on Jackson St and closure of Jackson St is expected sometime the first two weeks of September.
Full completion and reopening of Jackson St is not anticipated until mid to late October. Finally, continued advancement of the roadway lighting system and streetscape amenities will be visible over the coming months as well.
The parking area at the Red Wing Riverview Skyway “Pedestrian Bridge” bridge entrance on Levee Road is ready for use for additional Old West Main St parking and business access.
