The community is invited to attend a unique event at the Sheldon Theatre in Red Wing this month.
On Thursday, May 21, join them for a free presentation and interactive activities involving the river that flows beneath our city. The Jordan River (often called Jordan Creek) has a unique history to the Dakota and early settlers who lived here.
Learn about this fascinating body of water and see the Jordan River for yourself running underneath the Sheldon. In Dakota it’s He Mni Can Wakpa.
Meal provided. Welcome time: 5:30. Presentation: 6-8 pm.
The event is free but RSVP encouraged at https://www.sheldontheatre.org/.
Presented in partnership by: Red Wing Arts, Art of the Rural, City of Red Wing, Minnesota Marine Art Museum, Honoring Dakota Project and Sheldon Theatre
