National Eagle Center SOAR: Summer Splash




The National Eagle Center is making a splash this month.

 

The Center’s second portion of its annual SOAR With the Eagles festival series, SOAR: Summer Splash, is taking place the weekend of June 22-23.

 

Festival guests will enjoy a variety of outdoor activities throughout the weekend. The feature events will be outdoor live eagle programs in the Riverfront Amphitheater, four two-hour eagle-viewing river cruises, and Fishing on the Refuge for kids ages 15 and under.

 

Additional weekend activities, experiences, and exhibits will include Behind the Scenes tours, the Ocean Odyssey Mobile Touch Tank from the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, minnow racing, customized eagle button-making station, and booths for the Izaak Walton League and Wabasha Bird City.

 

Standard admission prices will apply during the festival. All program seats will cost $3. Premium field trip and Behind the Scenes experiences will cost $75 per person in addition to admission.
