The National Eagle Center is excited to welcome its new Executive Director, Ed Minnema.
Minnema brings a strong and diverse skillset to the Center which he has developed through over 25 years of educational, corporate, and administrative leadership experience.
He comes to Wabasha having most recently served as the Vice President of Operations for the Native American Community Development Institute in Minneapolis, MN.
He has previously served as an Assistant Professor of American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and as an educator and administrator at both the elementary and high school level.
Minnema received his Masters Degree in Education - Teacher Development from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in 2001 and his Doctorate in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2007. He also holds numerous certifications in nonprofit leadership.
Minnema started on October 1.
