According to the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office, the body of Brad Nagel was found Sunday afternoon on his property in rural Red Wing.
Nagel was located down a steep embankment with a single self-inflicted wound. The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances, but no foul play is suspected.
The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, Environmental Learning Center, Ellsworth Fire Department, Red Wing Ambulance, Northstar Search and Rescue, Siewert’s Towing, Southern MN Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, and the countless volunteers for their involvement in the search for Brad.
