MSC SE Danielson Retirement

Dr. Marsha Danielson, who has served as president of Minnesota State College Southeast since July 1, 2021, is retiring at the conclusion of her current contract on June 30, 2026.

Danielson says the process of searching for her replacement will start right away.

They are in the process of hiring a national search firm to assist them.

Minnesota State Chancellor, Scott Olson will keep the Red Wing and Winona communities in the loop during the process.

The plan is to kick-off the search this fall with the goal of bringing forward their recommendation to the Board of Trustees in the spring.

Dr. Danielson says the North Star Promise Scholarship, Red Wing College Promise and the College Opportunity Program in Winona, are making a huge difference for giving people an opportunity to go to college.
