Mississippi River Level Falling


Water levels on the Mississippi River have crested and are continuing to fall.


According to the National Weather Service, Red Wing’s measurement as of Monday stood at 14.1 and is forecast to fall to 12 ft by Friday.


The river at Lake City is 16.5 ft, and isn predicted to drop to 15.5, below minor flood stage, by the end of this week.


Wabasha is measured at 14.3 ft and is expected to fall to 13.2 ft. by Friday.
