Malone Park Playground Equipment Moving

The Malone Park playground equipment in Wabasha is moving to the new Eagles Basin park, 1148 Majestic Street.

The new park opens Monday, June 2nd.

With the ongoing flooding events at Malone Park, the equipment needed to be removed to prevent further damage.

Staff, Wabasha Parks Board, and Council approved the change to move it to an area that does not flood.

The mitigation cost of moving the park equipment to the Eagle Basin playground was completely covered by grant funding, sourced from last year’s flood event.

The equipment will be ready for use at its new location as of June 2nd.
