The City of Red Wings Touch a Truck event is back next week.
It's happening during Late Night Thursday on September 3 from 4-7 pm along West Third Street between Bush Street and East Avenue.
Police, Fire, and Public Works vehicles all in one place to explore. With the three departments joining together, kids can check out lots of trucks, engines, patrol cars, and haulers, and meet the staff who run them.
End your evening with a roar by taking in a screening of Jurassic Park at the Sheldon Theatre at 7 pm.
They are giving you the opportunity to score free tickets. Five dinosaur figures will be hidden downtown before the show, and each comes with a voucher for two free movie passes.
Start searching West Third and Bush streets at around 4 pm. (Figures will be accessible from the sidewalks.)
