Taylor talks today in Lake City!
Lake City's Taylor Heise is the featured speaker today at 12pm at the Lincoln High School Auditorium in an event through the Lake City Rotary.
Heise is one of the top women's hockey players in the world. Heise played high school hockey for six years in Red Wing and capped off her senior year by winning the Ms. Minnesota Hockey award. Heise just finished up a stellar career at the University of Minnesota and won the Patty Kazmaier Award as the top player in women's college hockey
for the 2021-22 season.
Heise played in 173 games in her five years with the Gophers...a program record. She ranks in the top 10 all time in goals, assists and points in program history.
Taylor has been a stand out in international competition and looks to continue her hockey career in a new, revamped women's hockey league and compete for a spot on the 2026 Olympic team as well.
