The Aces and Bears punched up their ticket to the State Class C Amateur Baseball Tournament with home wins Monday night.
Red Wing hosts Cannon Falls Friday with the pre-game show at 7:40am and the game at 8pm on Bluff Country 1250 KCUE/KCUE 99FM and on-line at www.kcueradio.com.
Both teams are assured on going to state but the game is for the #1 seed, a first round bye at state and the first pick for the draft for state. The team that loses in the #2 seed.
Saturday it's the elimination bracket games at the Red Wing Athletic Field. Hastings faces Stewartville at 1pm and Wanamingo faces Dodge County at 4pm. The winners meet at 7pm and the winner of that game is the #3 seed from Region 5C to go to state.
