The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have completed the 2025 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, selecting 17 additional players on the second and final day.

In all, the Twins selected 21 total players, including: 12 right-handed pitchers, one left-handed pitcher, six infielders and one outfielder. The Twins also selected two players out of high school and 19 out of college.

Seattle Mariners star and MLB home run leader Cal Raleigh became the first catcher to win the All-Star Home Run Derby, as he outlasted Tampa Bay Rays infielder Junior Caminero in the final Monday night.

Raleigh hit 18 home runs to Caminero's 15 in the final round.

Raleigh, known as the "Big Dumper," joins Ken Griffey Jr. as the only two Mariners to win the event.

Caminero, Raleigh, Oneil Cruz and Byron Buxton advanced past a Round 1 that featured the lowest total in over a decade after New York Yankees infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit only three homers.

Raleigh was pitched to by his father, Todd, the former coach of Tennessee and Western Carolina. Raleigh's younger brother, Todd Raleigh Jr., did the catching.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson, whose future with the team appeared murky at the end of last season, has reached agreement on a four-year, $130 million contract extension that makes him one of the highest-paid receivers in the NFL, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

The deal includes $90 million guaranteed, the fourth most in a wide receiver's contract, the sources told Schefter. It marks the first time in NFL history that a receiver has received an average over $31 million after playing only three seasons.

The $32.5 million average in his new deal is fifth highest among NFL wide receivers.
