The search for a new Lake City Superintendent of Schools is over.
At a special board meeting on Thursday, the Lake City School Board voted to select Ariana Wright as the district’s next superintendent. Wright has been working as the Principal of Kasson-Mantorville Schools.
Heath Oeltjen, Lake City School Board Chair, says they believe that Ariana has demonstrated leadership skills and will bring new and creative ideas to Lake City Schools.
The School Board will be conducting contract negotiations with Wright, and the pending start date is July 1st.
Current Superintendent Erick Enger is retiring at the end of the school year, June 30th
