Residents are invited to join Destination Lake City, who are sponsoring a beach clean up Saturday.
Beach Beautification Clean Up Day runs from 8-11am. Volunteers can meet at Federal Pier Beach, the city’s most visible beach located by the outer marina harbor.
Drinking Water will be provided. Please bring your gloves, rakes, or other useful tools for a simple beach clean-up.
The primary work is to pickup sticks and debris and stack them in piles for removal.
And hopefully stay for a fun bonfire at the end as they burn all the wood scraps they find.
