Horton-Schumann Miss Minnesota Angus Queen

Breckyn Horton-Schumann, a sophomore at PEM, and her sister Piper and Mom Jerilyn, recently traveled to Albany, Minnesota for the Minnesota Angus Association Banquet/Consignment Sale.

The Plainview News reports Breckyn was crowned the 2025 Miss Minnesota Angus Queen, which is a high honor state title that will run from the term of March 2025 until March 2026.

The girls had to do a formal application along with proof of grade point average and grades as well as pictures of all their activities and leadership roles.

Breckyn was also recently chosen to be the PEM FFA Vice President as well as Treasurer.

She is still MN Junior Angus Secretary, National Junior Angus member, and Knowledge Bowl team, 4-H, softball, Immanuel Lutheran Church Youth group, and recently applied for National Honor Society.

She starts PSEO College courses in August.
