National Eagle Center Cruises

There is still time to signup for the National Eagle Center’s summer cruises.

Options for eagle viewing river cruises include Winona State University’s Cal Fremling floating classroom and Treasure Island’s Spirit of the Water.

A few seats are availble this Saturday, August 29^th. They will leave from Winona’s Levee Park. There’s another cruise Saturday, October 3^rd,  Both cruises are from 2-4 pm, cost for NEC members is $60, non-members $75.

On Saturday, September 26^th they will leave from Welch for a cruise. Same hours and admission fees.

These two-hour cruises are summer floating classroom experiences for guests, featuring expert naturalists, real-time interpretation of observed Bald Eagles and wildlife, and engaging audience Q&A.

The Cal Fremling and Spirit of the Water have an on-board restroom, indoor and open-air seating, and are wheelchair accessible.
