Hispanic Outreach of Goodhue County Events

The Hispanic Outreach of Goodhue County is as busy as ever, preparing for a pair of community events.

Executive Director, Lucy Richardson, says they have just a few tickets left for purchase to the Salsalicious celebration held at the St. James Hotel in the Summit Room Tuesday, April 1st and they are preparing a special salsa.

Richardson says plans are well underway planning the annual Hispanic Heritage Festival, Saturday, September 13th at Central Park in Red Wing.

She says after 10 years, the survey they always ask attendees to fill out, showed people finally thought they had enough food options.

The Hispanic Festival celebration marks the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Highlights include live performances, music, games, piñata breaking, and, of course, plenty of delicious food.
