Highway 20 Cannon Falls Closures

Crews will close both directions of Highway 20 from 280th Street to River Road in Cannon Falls for street surface improvements starting this morning.

According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, beginning at 5 am, Highway 20 will be closed in both directions between 280th Street and River Road and is expected to reopen in late August.

Throughout construction, side streets in the project area will also be closed to through traffic during the day, with flaggers and Minnesota State Patrol on site for assistance with local traffic.

During this closure, motorists traveling northbound or southbound on Highway 20 can use the signed detour routes.

During this closure, motorists traveling southbound on Highway 20 can use the signed detour route of westbound Highway 50 to southbound Highway 52 to eastbound Highway 19/Main Street to Highway 20.

Motorists traveling northbound on Highway 20 can use the signed detour route of westbound Highway 19/Main Street to northbound Highway 52 to eastbound Highway 50 to Highway 20.
