Authorities in west central Minnesota say a 64-year-old woman from Hastings broke her arm while deer hunting on Saturday monring northeast of Alexandria.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says Elizabeth Drexler and her hunting partner were about a mile into the woods near Carlos when she tripped and fractured her arm.
Deputies say D-N-R officers and first responders were able to backboard the woman out of the woods safely.
Drexler was taken to an Alexandria hospital for treatment
