Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Red Wing will be conducting a training drill today and you will see an increase in emergency vehicles and people have no need to be concerned.
The drill is to support a response to an Emergency at the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating plant.
The drill will be taking place in multiple locations (Pierce County, Wisconsin, Dakota County, Goodhue County, and the State Emergency Operations Center in St. Paul).
This is one of their regular training and exercise activities to ensure we are prepared in case of an event at Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant.
