Goodhue County Historical Society History Break




The community is invited to join the Goodhue County Historical Society for a free History Break: Mississippi Dialogues Public Art Project on Wednesday, May 21st from noon to 1 pm.

 

Mississippi Dialogues is a public art collaboration to create a series of panels Indigenizing a map of the Mississippi River.

 

Independent cartographer and Citizen Potawatomi tribal member Margaret Pearce will present about her work collaborating with Prairie Island Tribal Historic Preservation to create a panel for installation in Red Wing, through interviews, archival research, historical maps, and design.
