The community is invited to celebrate this month with the Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity, who are pioneering a large-scale housing project on the historic St. John's Hospital site in Red Wing.
Habitat, who is celebrating their 30 anniversary, recently acquired the site from Mayo Clinic Health Systems and while it’s early in the planning stage, this five-acre site holds the promise of offering affordable homeownership to 23 families.
You are invited to join them Wednesday, September 20th from 5-7 pm at the former St. John's Hospital site, 1407 West 4th Street, for a community block warming party to honor their past while building a stronger future together.
Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity is also holding a fundraising golf tournament at Mississippi National Golf Links on Monday, September 25th.
