Goodhue County officials are urging the public to participate in the county’s Broadband Access Survey.
The survey takes only a few minutes and helps local internet providers better identify areas they could potentially grow into.
In the survey, it asks for your personal information, overall satisfaction of your current internet provider, and how much you’re willing to pay for internet.
Last month, Goodhue County held a broadband roundtable discussion with representatives from major providers like HBC, Frontier, Nuvera and others.
From this conversation, Goodhue County created the Broadband Initiative to help to help further broadband development and assist in helping the public become better connected.
The county Broadband Initiative is located on the Goodhue County website,

The webpage includes a link to the survey, links to where you can find free Wi-Fi spots in your area, local internet providers, application to the State’s line extension program, local broadband projects, and other resources.
