Goodhue County Commissioner Brad Anderson on December 9th received the 2025 Association of Minnesota Counties (AMC) President’s Award at AMC’s annual conference in Bloomington in recognition of his years of dedicated service in county government.
The prestigious award is presented annually by the outgoing AMC president to honor county government leaders for exemplary public service.
Anderson, a former district director who helped shape the organization’s statewide policy priorities, said of the recognition, “Receiving the President’s Award is an unexpected honor.”
Anderson has served on the Goodhue County Board of Commissioners since 2015 and currently serves as Chair.
His previous public service includes six years on the Cannon Falls School Board, three years on the Belle Creek Watershed District Board, and 12 years as Clerk of Leon Township.
