FirstView Updated APP Required

First Student has updated FirstView, the smartphone application that allows families to track their Red Wing Public School students’ buses.

The new system will go into effect Friday, May 16th. This requires a new app and a new code.

Parents and guardians must download the new FirstView 1.0 app because the original app will no longer connect to buses and vans used by FirstStudent, Red Wing Public Schools’ transportation partner.

Find FirstView 1.0 in the App Store or Google Play. The icon has a red background. Enter district code Z3L9K, student name, school and the route number.

Switching to the new app now – when bus routes are operating smoothly and families know pickup and dropoff times – will help users come fall when all the changes and challenges that can come with a new school year.

The app also will be in use for summer program transportation.
