First Annual Battle of the Badges

RiseUp Red Wing, in partnership with the City of Red Wing, is excited to announce the first annual Battle of the Badges softball game featuring local first responders this weekend.

The community is invited to join them Saturday at the Red Wing Athletic Field for activities, food, games and an evening full of fun. The Red Wing Police Department, the Red Wing Fire Department and the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office will be competeting.

Doors open at 6 pm and tickets are just $5, 3 and under are free. The Battle of the Badges starts at 7 pm.

There will be in-between innings, First Responder vehicles, mascot visits, food and drink and more.

RiseUp Red Wing is also partnering with First Student during the Battle of the Badges event. There will be a bus to fill at the Red Wing Athletic Field with school supplies for students.

RiseUp Red Wing is a non profit that supports local youth through programming including mentoring, life skills training, and youth leadership.
