Fall Color Changes

The changing of the leaves in southeast Minnesota is becoming much more apparent now that fall is officially here.
According to the Fall Color Finder on the Minnesota DNR site, as of Tuesday, nearly all of southeastern part of the state is in the 10-25% category.
Exceptions this week, the far southeast corner of Wabasha County and the northeast portion of Winona County is still at 0-10%.
The Eastern part of Olmsted County, the western portion of Winona County and nearly all of Houston County is now at 25%-50% full.
The typical dates for peak fall colors in southeast Minnesota is early to mid October.
