The Red Wing Environmental Learning Center is busy with summer activities such as biking, sailing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and more.
Executive Director, Jason Jech, says kids who participate get a great look at the Red Wing area and beyond. Jech says a big part of the ELC is teaching safety.
The ELC offers Tiny Trees for 2nd and 3rd grade, Young Explorers for 4th and 5th graders, and their Core Program for 6th to 12th graders.
Jech says there is financial aid available for various camps and activities for anyone who needs it to participate.
The Red Wing ELC has brought back their popular Thursday Free Community Pizza Nights again. The public is invited to the ELC, 442 Guernsey Lane, for a brick oven pizza dinner and music, July 20 and August 17 from 6-7:30 pm.
