Ellsworth’s Cheese Curd Festival is held each year in June and celebrates the town’s designation as the Cheese Curd Capital of Wisconsin.
The past 2 years the Festival was a drive-thru event only but this week it returns as an in-person event over 2 days.
This year’s event is Friday, June 24 from 4 pm -10 pm and Saturday, the 25th from 10 am – 10 pm.
This year the festival again features the popular original curds the unique Cinnamon Sugar Dessert Curds, and this year’s exclusive flavor, pizza served with marinara.
Activities and highlights include 6,000 pounds of cheese curds, taste over 30 craft beers, hard ciders, local wines, live music, tastings and sampling, classic car show, vendor market, food trucks, 5k/10k run and more.
Located within Ellsworth’s East End Park, admission to the festival is free and there is free parking and free shuttle service for festival attendees.
There are 3 official Cheese Curd Festival parking lots: Ellsworth Elementary School/High School lot, Pierce County Office Building, and the Pierce County Fairgrounds.
