Elgin Unplatted Land Split

Elgin’s City Council on June 17 approved a request by Arlo and Anita M. Kroening to split unplatted land within the city limits and combine it with unplatted land owned by Amos Kroening.
According to the Plainview News, City ordinance allows unplatted land to be split if the owners file an application which is approved by Elgin’s Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council.
In other business, Elgin Economic Development Association representative Heather Speer said planning is underway for the annual National Night Out event, scheduled for Tuesday, August 4th in City Park.
