There will be a special Eisenhower Bridge of Valor Dedication next month.
The dedication is at Bay Point Park in Red Wing Sunday, August 7 at 10 am.
The 1 hour program will include multi-generation Honor Guard with Red Wing’s all VETS Color Guard, bagpipes, short stories of great courage, Red Wing’s Community Men’s Chorus and soloist Warren Petryk, Wisconsin State Representative District 93.
There will also be remarks by District 21A Representative Barb Haley, a proclamation by USMC Vietnam Veteran David Zien, a former WI State Senator District 23, and a reading of short excerpts of a prayer President Dwight Eisenhower wrote.
It’s a rain or shine event and you are encouraged to be a lawn chair.
