For 25 years, the CPKC Holiday Train has been raising money, food and awareness for the important work that food banks do in their communities and Wabasha is proud to welcome them back on Saturday at the Gambie Avenue railway crossing by Bruegger Park.
The Holiday Train is scheduled for 5:30 pm, with live entertainment from the train from 5:45-6:15 pm.
CPKC will make a donation to the Wabasha Area Food Share program while here and they encourage everyone who is able to bring a donation of non-perishable food item or cash as well.
Since it’s inception in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than 22.5 million dollars and more than 5 million pounds of food for community food banks across North America
